80g raw almonds
20 – 30g of seeds pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, linseeds or chia seeds (optional)
80 – 100g of dates (depends on how sweet you like it)
5 large handfuls of ice cubes
600 – 800g water
30g raw cacao or carob powder
1. Add almonds and seeds into your Thermomix, grind for 10 seconds/ speed 9.
2. Add dates, grind again on 10 seconds/ speed 9.
3. Add ice and grind 10 seconds/ speed 9.
4. Add in water, cacao powder (or carob) blend 60 seconds/ speed 9.
5. Enjoy!
For a chocolate ‘green’ smoothie, add in a couple hand fulls of spinach, butter lettuce or avocado.
For a chocolate banana smoothie, add in frozen bananas in place of ice, no other sweetener needed!
